Being Belgian Beer Dinner

For Corvallis, or nearby, folks who are not on the Corvallis Brewing Supply mailing list, or B.I.E.R. (Beer Information Electronically Realized), the next installment of CBS/Block 15's Being Belgian beer dinner is rapidly approaching. From the most recent CBS email:

"The next Corvallis Brewing Supply and Block 15 Being Belgian Beer Tasting will be Wednesday, August 11th, 7:00pm - 9:00 pm.  This tasting will feature Allagash beers with a guest appearance by Dr. Kendall Staggs.  Kendall will be visiting from Green Bay, Wisconsin, but he has a history in Corvallis as an OSU professor and as an all-around-good guy and beer fanatic.  His presentation of Allagash will be extensive with beers selected from his personal collection and hand-carried all the way from the mid-west!"

Cost is $50 and includes beers, food, wait gratuity and Kendall.  Limited to 20 attendees.  Contact CBS for tickets at: joel@lickspigot.com or 541.758.1674.

These events are always a good time, often too good of time, and tend to sell out a few days before the event (meaning very soon). Joel (owner of CBS) was nice enough, or mean enough, to have me run the last tasting, and I'm greatly looking forward to enjoying this one as a normal beer loving Joe. I saw the list of brews the good doctor is bringing, and it should be a great dinner. Hope to see you there and at the inevidable after party at Block 15.
